Erin’s Outreach

Outreach is a unique part of the work we do here at Gilda’s Club. In addition to the wealth of programs and services offered on site we try our best incorporate our services into the community. Not only can you find Gilda’s Club staff and volunteers providing support at regular outreach locations, but we are also available to attend health fairs and various community events. In fact, you can stop by our booth at the KWQC Women’s Health and Lifestyle Fair coming up in March.
Most recently, our Outreach Coordinator Erin Williams spoke at a meeting for the River Cities Rotary Club. She shared information about what Gilda’s Club is, what services are available, and how programs can help the people in all Quad City communities.
The Gilda’s Club staff, volunteers, and members are available to help spread the word about our unique program of social and emotional support for the whole family upon request. We are more than happy to speak with schools, faith-based organizations, hospitals or your workplace to help others better understand what we are about and how to reach out to those living with cancer.
